An Easy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has grown on me. Having been in the United States for five years, I have not only learned to embrace the Holiday spirit from November 1st onwards, but I have learned a lot about the American culture through holidays like Thanksgiving. Apparently, Thanksgiving is more celebrated than Christmas in the U.S., which to be honest, is a pretty weird concept for me.

Thanksgiving is a time when families and friends are reunited, when the kids come home and the family is once again reunited. The nest becomes temporarily filled and Mom can’t stop smiling.

And so, at this time of the year, I ask everyone to forget about politics, religion, and other sensitive subjects for one night. Let's feast and be thankful with our families and friends alongside some turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and god knows what else!

Interior Design:

For a cozy, yet modern ambiance, I recommend that you visit Anthropologie. They have everything from dinnerware sets to cloth napkins. Check out their website, even if it’s just for some inspiration.

Restoration Hardware has a beautiful selection of dinnerware collections that are more fit for a year round (yet chic) affair.

West Elm has some elegant ideas as well
